Policies

All fees incurred at our clinic are due and payable upon completion of the visit. We accept Cash, Checks (in state), Visa and Mastercard. Deposits are required on services for certain treatments. Service charges will be applied on all returned checks.

Rankin Animal Clinic is unable to accept stray animals, without a responsible person willing to pay for the boarding, vaccinations and veterinary services that the animal may require. We can, however, refer you to many agencies in the area that specialize in adoptions of stray animals.

Pets will be seen in a prioritized manner. First: Emergencies. Second: Appointments. Third: Walk-In’s

Pets admitted into Rankin Animal Clinic will be (if needed) treated for fleas and ticks or other parasites and charged to the owner.

All pets admitted into Rankin Animal Clinic are required to be current on all vaccinations. Vaccinations given at home will not be accepted as current vaccinations.

In order to purchase heartworm preventatives, we must have a negative heartworm test within the past 12 months or a prescription from another veterinary clinic giving permission.

There will be no after-hours pick-up of pets. All pets must be picked up during regular office hours.

We are legally unable to give credit or refunds on returned medications.

Pets brought into the clinic must be on a leash or in a pet carrier.
